As a lead-up to the premiere of ABC's new series FlashForward this Thursday - which I'll be reviewing here, and every subsequent episode - I thought you might enjoy this in-depth interview I conducted week before last with Robert J. Sawyer, author of the novel upon which the series is based.
Rob talks about how his novel progressed from page to screen, his assessment of the cast, what it feels like to be author of a novel made into a television series, the different paths in the novel and the television series, and much more....

Terrific interview. Looking forward (no pun intended) to the show, but it's on a very competitive night. I hope ABC is patient with it and gives it a chance. (And if it struggles on Thursdays, which hopefully it won't), moves it to a better night.
Thanks, Flash and Nick!
Nick - agreed completely!
This is off topic, but I saw you in the premiere of "For Liberty". That movie is incredible, and you do a good job in it.
Thanks, Mark - I'm looking forward to seeing it. Chris wrote to me today about sending a copy.
You saw the premiere in New York or Phila?
I'll be giving a talk in Philadephia on September 30, and part of my talk will be about Ron Paul and new new media.
