Martin Luther King. Jr. would give a sermon anything near Rev. Wright's.

If you are hearing the sound of applause in your immediate vicinity, wonder no longer, because it is my hands that are coming together, for the integrity and intellectual honesty of my former Mayor (when I lived in NYC that is), the one and only Ed Koch.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2008/04/theres_no_excusing_obama_on_wr.html

This man has echoed my sentiments on this entire Obama and Wright fiasco, and with trepidation I await the November election.

In the words of the great John Lennon from his song, "Just Gimme Some Truth" "...Ah, I'm sick and tired of hearing things from uptight, short-sighted, narrow-minded hypocrites - All I want is the truth now - Just gimme some truth now - I've had enough of reading things by neurotic, psychotic, pig-headed politicians- All I want is the truth now - Just gimme some truth now - All I want is the truth now - Just gimme some truth now - All I want is the truth - Just gimme some truth - All I want is the truth - Just gimme some truth."

:)badthing1https://www.blogger.com/profile/09985465976840168636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2289595359432630118.post-68916166708375679872008-03-23T21:40:00.000-04:002008-03-23T21:40:00.000-04:00I am drawn to your word 'reflection'.Isn't Obama's...I am drawn to your word 'reflection'.
Isn't Obama's speech in some way a reflection of some of our innermost yernings for a way to be able to take part in changing the direction we have been headed in? This speech has some facinating and important ingredients for a way to start. If a critical mass can be reached on issues such at this, we can actively embody the hope we all so sorely need right now. Obama makes the possibility of change look possible.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2289595359432630118.post-25734443872203309782008-03-22T23:03:00.000-04:002008-03-22T23:03:00.000-04:00thanks, anon1 and anon2 ... welcome to the blog......thanks, anon1 and anon2 ... welcome to the blog...Paul Levinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07609987407926836519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2289595359432630118.post-74990144638760924932008-03-22T18:45:00.000-04:002008-03-22T18:45:00.000-04:00nice, well put reflection.nice, well put reflection.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2289595359432630118.post-77688505867800964002008-03-22T17:28:00.000-04:002008-03-22T17:28:00.000-04:00Great article Paul...I completely agree religion s...Great article Paul...I completely agree religion should be left alone that's why there is separation of church and state.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
