She just saw the last episode last night, in fact.

I'll probably get around to watching it sooner or later, assuming it's still there.Paul Levinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07609987407926836519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2289595359432630118.post-11046312969194543742007-02-21T20:12:00.000-05:002007-02-21T20:12:00.000-05:00I've been popping in and out. :)And sighing over t...I've been popping in and out. :)
And sighing over the fact that the U.K. is rather behind with the shows I carry a torch for.....('B. Galactica', 'Lost' etc.).
....
I heard and read many good things about 'Day Break' before it was cancelled by ABC - and many good things afterwards too, along with a lot of outraged shouting. Did you see any of it?
It's nice that ABC are showing it all online for free.
....
For U.S. viewers only.
Gnnn. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2289595359432630118.post-56418063646160730862007-02-21T17:17:00.000-05:002007-02-21T17:17:00.000-05:00Actually, the music in the first few new episodes ...Actually, the music in the first few new episodes was not quite as good as in the first season - mainly because we didn't hear it enough during the show - but it's back up to snuff now...

Good to see you here, again, Mike.Paul Levinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07609987407926836519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2289595359432630118.post-77705710078291729182007-02-21T12:18:00.000-05:002007-02-21T12:18:00.000-05:00That's good. Cicero is one of the most famously charismatic orators in Classical history, and Bamber's portrayal seemed to miss that, making him opportunistic and a bit spineless, even after he had chosen a side (the losing side, with Pompey and against Caesar).
Nice to hear there's a little more depth shown to the character, albeit at the end.....
....
By the way, I hope the music of season 1 is still in place? *fingers crossed*Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
