Barack Obama just finished a brief press conference on the stump on York, PA.
Among the highlights -
About Republican snickering about Obama being a "community organizer" after college: So who are the Republicans fighting for? Obama asked. The Democrats are fighting for the working people - the people he was helping with his community work.
About Republican attacks on Obama last night: "This is what they do," Obama said. In two nights of the Republican convention, there hasn't been a word about the Republicans intend to do about the economic mess they've gotten us into.
It was good to see Obama on the attack.
The weeks between now and the election promise to be classic American history.

"Paul Levinson's It's Real Life is a page-turning exploration into that multiverse known as rock and roll. But it is much more than a marvelous adventure narrated by a master storyteller...it is also an exquisite meditation on the very nature of alternate history." -- Jack Dann, The Fiction Writer's Guide to Alternate History

Paul: I saw a funny bumper sticker the other day that read: "Jesus was a community organizer"
The McCain campaign can be summed in a few words: Destroying is easy work; Building is hard work. How can you respect a man that simply attacks the other guy (mostly with falsehoods) and has nothing constructive to offer as a counter argument.
