24 Season 7: Unlucky Hour 13

Season 7 of 24 ... another superb episode in this outstanding Day in Jack Bauer's life and exploits ... unlucky Hour 13.

CTU has been disbanded. All that was left of it, other than Jack, was Tony, Chloe, and Bill.

And now, there's one less.

I had a bad feeling when I saw the coming attractions last week. The look on Jack's face after the explosion said that someone very close to Jack had died. I figured either Aaron or Bill.

It was Bill. This season was his best season. James Morrison portrayed the character to the moral, rational, tough but sympathetic hilt. Bill Buchanan will go down as one of the best CTU, FBI, or whatever chiefs in television history.

Meanwhile, we've now got Jon Voight's bad guy completely in play. He's shaping up to be one of the primo villains in the seven Seasons of 24.

More bad news. And Jack's back on the run. There's tension between the President's daughter and the Chief of Staff. I still don't trust Moss completely, and the VP is a grade-A a-hole.

One glimmer of good news. Renee and Jack seem to have a bond.

What a season. I can't wait for next week.
